The DECEIVED Chase After Signs and Blunders

I want to read to you the great commission that Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 16:14-18; “Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.  And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  And these signs will follow those who believe:  In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”  These are the things that Jesus spoke, and if you are really with Jesus you WILL SEE His signs and His wonders, they will follow after you, not because power is coming out of us, but because as we follow the Lord Jesus we see HIS work IN OUR LIFE, we see HIM working in the world, and we see Him working in others.  Now, a lot of Christians, they chase after “signs and wonders” and they start whole churches around this, calling themselves “The Christians with signs and wonders following…” and instead of the wonders following THEM as they are seeking the LORD, they are chasing after the wonders.  And they chase after other people who perform signs and wonders.  But a lot of these signs and wonders that Christians are seeking after are FALE signs and wonders and they are deceived.  And it is no wonder that people get deceived when they chase after sensationalism, when they chase after feelings, the pleasures of the flesh….  Jesus didn’t call us to chase after these things, but He said that THEY WOULD FOLLOW US.  If we really are with the Lord we are going to see the work of the Holy Spirit in our life, there will be demons, spiritual snakes, that we will have to attack in the name of Jesus.  We will speak in new tongues, the sick will be healed, people will repent, those things will happen, BUT AS THE LORD JESUS WILLS IT.  Some people are under the impression that they can lay hands on anyone, and that because Jesus says this that they WILL recover immediately.  BUT Jesus didn’t say EVERY single person would recover.  Not every singe person will repent.  BUT we do have to pray for people, and we do have to pray for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

 Now there are some people that, they won’t even allow people to work in their churches (and these churches are false to start with) But they say “You have to speak in tongues, you have to have these signs and wonders…”  And they don’t accept anyone as a true prophet or a man of God unless THEY see these sorts of signs and wonders, and they say; “Why would anyone follow this guy if he is not working signs and wonders and miracles….”  They are looking for something that THEY perceive to be supernatural.  But in regards to this deception, I want to read to you what the people said in regards to JOHN THE BAPTIST, and this is found in…

John 10:40-41; “And He (JESUS) went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed.  Then many came to Him and said, “JOHN PREFORMED NO SIGN, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.”  And many believed in Him there.”  (many believed in Jesus)

People did not recognize anything supernatural about John the Baptist, he preformed no sign, YET, John “was the greatest born of women”, that is what Jesus said, he was a true prophet of GOD, he spoke the truth, he had the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT in him.  But people saw no sign, they saw no power of God, they saw nothing.  Yet people are willing to run around today and accuse brothers and sisters who ARE following Jesus saying; “They don’t have signs and wonders following THEM…”  But they do accept John the Baptist.  Well, Here is a question for those who are chasing after signs and wonders:  WHAT SIGN OR WONDER DID JOHN PREFORM.  Why did people repent when John the Baptist was baptizing, was it because he parted the Red Sea?  Was it because he was parting the Jordan?  Or was it because he was preaching, “REPENT for the Kingdom of God is at HAND!”, and people were convicted?  Was it because the power of GOD was upon his preaching?  And the power of God was working through him even to baptize Jesus Christ! 

When Jesus is working through someone’s life those people, the person whom the Holy Spirit is working in their life THEY see the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is manifesting in them and through them, but the world CAN’T SEE ANYTHING, the world is blind.  The world was blind to even what Jesus was doing.  The world chose NOT to see His miracles.  And Jesus could not work many miracles in His own town because people rejected Him.  Likewise people did not see what was supernatural with John the Baptist, they didn’t see what looked like a dove descending out of heaven, they didn’t see anything supernatural about Jesus getting baptized, or those people coming out into the wilderness to be baptized by John.  Man can’t see what is happening spiritually in people’s hearts, that is supernatural.  But we are NOT of the world, are we? We are of the Kingdom of God, and if you are REALLY of the Kingdom of God you need SPIRITUAL EYES TO SEE AND YOU NEED SPIRITUAL EARS TO HEAR!  And when you know that you are REALLY seeking after the Lord in spirit and in truth and part of HIS Kingdom that is found in spirit and in truth, THEN you will see the signs following you, not because we are something great in the world, not because we are magicians, not because we are trying to work signs and wonders like a genie or these church leaders who are deriving power from the DEVIL, but because we have spiritual eyes to see what the Holy Spirit is doing IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD!  Are you really seeking after the Lord Jesus and are signs and wonders following YOU as the Lord Jesus is working in your life, by the power of the Holy Spirit?  Or are you like the false leaders in the church who are seeking after, and chasing after signs and BLUNDERS, deceiving others with WITCHCRAFT?  Make SURE that you are not chasing signs and blunders, but that you are chasing after the gift of the Holy Spirit and that you are chasing after righteousness and holiness.  Make sure that you are really producing GOOD FRUIT, that way signs and wonders will follow YOU.  May the grace of Jesus be with you.

Jesus Brings DIVISION Not Peace With Your Family

The words of Jesus should make you fearful, because the things Jesus said are NOT what is taught in church, it is NOT what is taught in the world or in our economy or by your mom or by your dad.  Jesus did not preach “peace for the world” He did not preach “peace for the earth”.  And in fact, Jesus said He would bring a sword, division.  Also the Kingdom of God is now what you think it is, the Kingdom of Heaven is not peace, but the Kingdom of Heaven is DIVISION.  I encourage you to read the parables that Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven, because they are one in the same, and it will surprise you what Jesus taught because He is in stark contradiction to what the churches and the Christians are preaching and teaching today.  These are not my words that I am going to read, but this is coming from Scripture, and the words I am going to read are the words that came out of Jesus’s MOUTH and they are the words that He is also speaking TODAY, not for someone far out in the world, but they are for you and your family and your household.  I’m going to start with what Jesus said in Mathew chapter 10 I’m starting in verse 34-39; “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth.  I did NOT come to bring peace but a sword.  For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.  He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.  He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”  These are the words that are not recorded in church from the pulpits, they are  not taught at large, because for the economy of the world to revolve, it has to revolve around peace, NOT division.  No one is going to pay the bills and make money if this sort of division happens, and no family is going to stay together if this division happens.  Everything will fall apart.  The words of Jesus should make you fearful, you should fall on your face and start PRAYING, because Jesus is NOT who you think He is.  And again these are not my words, but the words of Jesus Christ.  I want to continue to read to you what Jesus says.  Now I read from Luke 12:49-53; “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!  But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished!  Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth?  I tell you NOT AT ALL, but rather DIVISION…”

              Have you read these words of Jesus?  These words are severe! And these words are coming to pass AS WE SPEAK RIGHT NOW!

“For from no on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three.  Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” 

              These are not my words, these are the words of JESUS.  Has Jesus spoken THESE words into your heart?  And have you let Jesus Christ HIMSELF reveal to you what you need to do about this?  Or have you just written all the words of Jesus off, to listen to the words that you hear the pastor saying?  Are all the words in the bible balanced for you AND MADE NULL by other passages?  Have you disregarded the words of Jesus for your OWN theology, your own mind?  Have you thrown out the truth of Jesus Christ for your own life?  Are you holding onto your own life, or do you really accept the sword that coms from Jesus Christ?  Not the peace.  But do you really accept the sword of the TRUTH?  Lets read on what Jesus says.  And again these are not my words, but these are the words that Jesus spoke.  Now I read from

 

Luke 14:25-33; “Now great multitudes went with Him.  and he turned and said to them, “If anyone comes to Me and does not HATE his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his won life also, he cannot be My disciple…”

              Have you considered what Jesus means by this?  Or have you just assumed?  Have you had a word from Jesus on this?  Or have you only listened to your own opinion?  Jesus says in verse 27…

  “And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.  For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it- least, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’  Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?  Or else while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace.  So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake ALL that he has cannot be My disciple.” 

              The words of Jesus are very severe.  The question is: DO YOU REALLY HEAR JESUS?  May the grace of Jesus be with you.
