Are you saved?

Are You Saved?
Jesus said in Matthew chapter 7:13-14; “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are MANY who go in by it.  Because NARROW is the gate and DIFFICULT is the way which leads to life, and there are FEW who find it.”
 Surprisingly, when Jesus was speaking these words, He was NOT just speaking about the entire WORLD, but He was narrowing this down to people who consider themselves believers in GOD.  Of course atheists are not saved, who reject God flat out.  Of course other religions of the world who practice DEAD RELIGION and reject the truth of Jesus ARE NOT SAVED.  But Jesus was NOT talking about the outside world, He was talking about people who SAY they believe in GOD, IN THE TRUE GOD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, these today would be Christians, people that say they believe in the Bible, that say that they are SAVED.  Look what Jesus goes on to say in Matthew chapter 7, I’m going to read verse 21-23;
 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘LORD, LORD’, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. “
WHO do you think is calling out “LORD, LORD”?  It’s not an atheist? It’s not someone from a different religion…
 “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in YOUR name?’”
Who does wonders in the name of Jesus?  Who does miracles in the name of Jesus? It’s not atheists, it’s not the world out there, it’s not even lukewarm Christians.  Those who are doing wonders or signs in the name of Jesus are Prophets, they are men and women of GOD.  But LOOK what Jesus says about THOSE people…
  “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
THAT is how narrow the door is.  If we are doing good works in the name of Jesus, but we still have some sin in our life, if we have not really surrendered EVERYTHING to the Lord, we are still living partially for ourselves, if we have not really dedicated our LIFE to the Lord Jesus, then at the end of our life even though we have done some good, we have called on the Lord, we have cast out demons, we have prophesied in His name, we have loved others, at the end our life He will say; “AWAY FROM ME YOU WHO SIN, YOU WHO COMMIT INIQUITY!”  This includes pretty much the entire Christian church.  Christians today run around saying that they are sinners, they openly confess that they are IN SIN, and they say; “Oh, we are saved, we are saved by GRACE…”  LISTEN TO WHAT JESUS SAID, the judgment is coming ON YOU, YOUR household, YOUR HEAD.  If you don’t truly repent and reconcile with Jesus, the judgment is coming to YOU.  May the grace of Jesus be with you.
