Overcome all anxieties and worries of the world

Overcome all Anxiety and Worries of the World
It is written in Philippians chapter 4:6-7; “Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds and hearts through Christ Jesus.” There are a lot of things that we can let our heart be concerned about or be anxious about in this world. But if we are the children of God, it is a wonderful thing to know that our God is alive and that He cares for us. Jesus hears our prayers. Supplication is begging or humbly asking something, something that is on our mind or on our heart.  And when we pray we know that the Lord hears our prayers. The way to be guided through our life is through prayer, by constantly staying on our knees, seeking the Lord and asking Him what to do. We don’t have to be smart or read the future. We don’t have to know how to interpret all the scripture in order to navigate through life and avoid the spiritual potholes, but we do have to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We have to stay connected with Him, because the branch that is disconnected from the vine cannot continue to live. People are not the Vine.  The church is not the Vine. Jesus Christ Himself is The Vine and we are the branches, and the way we stay connected to Him is by prayer, asking Him to guide us, just saying to Him; “I’m not sure which way to go… I’m not sure what to say to this person… I’m not sure how to act in the situation… I’m not sure why this person died… or why the situation happened…”  Whatever our concern is, whatever is worrying us, the best thing we can do is to bring it to straight to the throne of God, to pray to Him to say; “Lord Jesus help me, help me to overcome my anger…help me to overcome this situation…”  And whatever your situation is, if you fix your eyes on Jesus, He WILL carry you through. Jesus said; “Seek first the Kingdom of God and HIS righteousness and everything else will be added unto you…”  Are we truly seeking JESUS first?  May the grace of Jesus be with you.
